Tennis Courts Now Open at Glen Lake

The tennis courts at Glen Lake have re-opened and residents are loving it! They were recently resurfaced, basically turning them into brand new tennis courts. Located next to the swimming pool and new clubhouse, these well-lit tennis courts have never looked so beautiful and can be reserved on a first come, first serve basis.
We all know that tennis provides a tremendous amount of physical benefits, but more and more studies are proving that it also provides enormous psychological benefits. According to Dr. Joan Finn and colleagues at Southern Connecticut State University, tennis players scored higher in optimism, vigor, and self-esteem while scoring lower in anxiety, depression, anger and confusion than other athletes and non-athletes.
Glen Lake also recently opened a new state-of-the-art fitness center in the clubhouse to go along with other fabulous community amenities including a swimming pool, dog park, resident vegetable garden, outdoor fireplace, and grill pavilions.
