Summer Amenities at Glen Lake

This has been one of the hottest summers ever in Atlanta but Glen Lake Apartments in Dunwoody has plenty of fun amenities to make your hot days more enjoyable. The community’s sparkling swimming pool has been very popular this summer with new comfortable pool furniture to relax and lounge, large umbrellas and tables for shade, and of course the cool waters from the pool to swim and play.

For anyone that likes to get outside and grill hot dogs and hamburgers, Glen Lake has several gas grills throughout the community with picnic tables perfect for a barbecue with friends or family. There are even resident vegetable gardens so you can grow your own fruits and vegetables.

The pet friendly community is also perfect for walking and playing with your dog. Near the front of the luxury community, Glen Lake has a large fenced in dog park where dogs can run off leash and socialize with other canine neighbors. Glen Lake has quickly become known as Atlanta’s most pet friendly community with its monthly yappy hours and pet of the month contests.

One of the many things that differentiate Glen Lake from other communities is the number of trees. Large brilliant trees shade most of the community making for nice strolls around the community. There are also walking trails just outside the gates by the UPS corporate office that many Glen Lake residents use to run , walk, and explore.

If the summer heat is still just too much then the new air conditioned clubhouse is a great spot to chill. A sun room in the clubhouse looks out towards the pool and is an ideal spot to enjoy a sandwich outside the heat. A fitness center was also built in the new clubhouse and is perfect for a workout with state-of-the-art Life Fitness equipment.
