Atlanta has become a more pet friendly city over the last few years with several parks in the area dedicating sections of green space to “man’s best friend.” Even some restaurants are now allowing dogs to hang out with their owners on the outdoor patios of the restaurants.

Next Yappy Hour at Glen Lake is May 26

Atlanta’s most pet friendly apartment community, Glen Lake, has scheduled the next community Yappy Hour for Wednesday, May 26, 2010 from 5:30- 7 p.m. The monthly yappy hours always take place in the fenced in dog park at Glen Lake. Bring your dog and let them run free and frolick with other dogs during yappy hour. Doggie treats will be available for the 4 legged residents and alcohol/ non-alcohol beverages will be available for their owners.
Yappy Hour offers the opportunity for your dog to get some exercise and play with doggie friends, and it is also a great time to mix and mingle with other residents from Glen Lake. Get to know your neighbors and let your dog out to bark!
Both residents and dogs alike had a blast at the last yappy hour in April. Just view the video from the last happy hour to see the fun from the wagging tails and tongues to doggie wrestling and play.
