February Pet of the Month

Two year old Yorkie, Tucker, is the February Pet of the Month at Glen Lake Apartments in Sandy Springs. Tucker comes to Atlanta from California where he used to spend lots of time at the beach in Orange County with his owner and Glen Lake resident, Tara.

A beach dog at heart, Tucker is adjusting to his first winter in Atlanta. Tucker and Tara moved to Atlanta in July of 2009. Tara chose Glen Lake Apartments for her and Tucker because of the dog friendly aspects of the community, which includes a fenced in dog park and monthly yappy hours. She also liked the location and the fact that it was close to her elementary school….Tara is a first grade teacher.

For fun, Tucker loves to play in the grass and has been known to steal Tara’s socks. He also enjoys all of his dog friends at Glen Lake. Tara said that she really likes how welcoming and friendly all the residents in the community have been to her and Tucker.
