July 4th Fireworks in Atlanta

July 4th falls on Sunday funday this year and several spectacular fireworks shows have been planned all around Atlanta. Many of the fireworks shows are easily accessible for residents at Glen Lake Apartments in Sandy Springs by easily hopping on GA-400, just seconds away from the luxury community, or by taking Marta.

Some of the most popular 4th of July celebrations in 2010 will take place at Lenox Square, Centennial Olympic Park, Turner Field, Six Flags Over Georgia, and Stone Mountain Park.

In fact, the largest fireworks display in the Southeast takes place at Lenox Square in Buckhead. Festivities begin at 6PM at Lenox with family activities, musical entertainment, and food concessions leading up to the fireworks.

The celebration at Centennial Olympic Park will also be huge with free festivities all day long including arts & crafts, face painting, live music, and more. If you’re more in the mood for hot dogs and hamburgers at the ball park then enjoy the Braves game  at Turner Field. First pitch is at 5:05PM on July 4th with fireworks following the game.

For residents at Glen Lake just looking to relax at home, there are several fun options available within the gated community. The gas barbecue grills throughout the community allow for a fun day of cooking out with friends or neighbors.
