The March Pet of the Month at Glen Lake apartments in Sandy Springs is one and a half year old ”Charlie”. Charlie is a Cavachon which is a cross between the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the Bichon Frise. He is a hypoallergenic dog which is considered to be good for many allergy sufferers.
Charlie and his owners, Nathan and Lauren, moved to Glen Lake in August 2009. Charlie absolutely LOVES the dog park and gets very excited on the walk over knowing that some of his dog friends will be playing in the fenced in dog park.
In addition to the dog park, Charlie loves playing with tennis balls and going to Lake Lanier and Lake Allatoona. He’s a boat dog and wears a life jacket so he can jump in the water and swim around when its warm outside. Read More→
St. Patrick’s Day Events Near Sandy Springs

There are several St. Patrick’s Day events happening near Glen Lake Apartments this year. One of the largest bashes is taking place the Saturday before St. Patty’s Day at Meehan’s Public House in Sandy Springs on March 13th at 2PM. Meehan’s, Dave FM, and Guinness will be hosting “Shamrock & Roll 2010″ featuring several bands including Yacht Rock, Francisco Vidal, REMakes, and more. Tickets can purchased in advance or purchased for $10 at the door. Meehan’s will also be open at 9:30AM on St Patrick’s Day (March 17th) serving half-priced Irish breakfast until 11:30AM.
Fado Irish Pub in Buckhead is another popular location for St. Patrick’s Day. Fado has a week long schedule of events culminating on March 17th with a huge outdoor festival. Read More→

Atlanta came in as the 79th most affluent area in the United States.
